Paul Kelley and Justine Randall
An exhibition of Contemporary Furniture and Textiles​​​ 

Inspired by the ethos of Anni and Josef Albers that everyday life can be enhanced and enriched through good design, Paul Kelley and Justine Randall will present their latest work, A New Design for Living, at Oneroom gallery.
With a shared aesthetic, they will demonstrate distinct living spaces, using Paul Kelley's cubes and furniture and Justine's hand woven tapestries.
As you work your way up through the four-storey house you will see a number of different configurations that
demonstrate the versatility of the cubes set against a backdrop of textile wall hangings all within the Oneroom house.
Justine's Night Sky series is inspired by the extreme colour, density and texture of the night and the light polluted skies of London, her work focuses on colour and landscape and charts changes in time, season and our evolving climate.
Paul Kelley's magnetic cubes allow you to connect them in all directions. Strong enough to hold together yet simple enough to pull apart so that you can use your imagination to create different design modules - construct a table, a chair, storage unit, even some steps, it is the easiest thing to do.
Changing furniture daily with the same cubes can offer endless possibilities.
 
Paul Kelley

Constantly exploring new finishes, textures and techniques, Paul Kelley's furniture is in a constant state of evolution.Kelley's work has been recognised across the world.
His most recent awards include a Guild Mark and the Jonathan Hindle prize for his magnetic copper cubes as well as winning two German Design awards all in 2018. His work crosses boundaries between Art and Design as he has shown in both the Art and Architecture categories of the Venice Biennale 2016 and 2017. He has worked withcompanies such as Paul Smith, BMW, Agape and Fendi and has carved out a reputation as one of the most progressive furniture makers in the UK. He resides in London, where his studio is based.

Justine Randall
Justine studied textiles at West Surrey College of Art & Design and then tapestry in the painting school at the RCA.
Her Wiltshire Landscape Tapestries were shortlisted for the Cordis prize for Tapestry in 2016 and were shown at CONVERGE in the Scottish National Gallery, she has exhibited work in Paris, Copenhagen, Germany and Japan. Her work has been bought by private clients and institutions; Hampshire County Museum England and Bupa both bought large tapestries for their collections.
